  3. majorMcpharter Says:

The Mv augusta looks and sounds awesome.Very lightweight with great handling and brembo brakes.Remember to put the bike in sport mode lads, throttle response and performance is fantastic.More hard core streetbike than the other 3 bikes.Yes the STR is a good all rounder for novices to exp riders, but stood next to the MV no contest.?

  4. oo7Grexx Says:

Time will tell if Neevesy will compare both bikes. Ride both bikes yourself and see which one is better, which I did and? to be honest with you I like the Triumph STR better. So far these reviews are spot on which I usually take it for a grain of salt. I am still undecided which one I want in my garage but so far the STR is winning me over.

  5. SweGT Says:

And where comes ducati’s the Street Fighter, the Monster and Ktm’s 690 Duke R between these bikes in? these video??

  6. BMW motorrad power Says:

    BMW F800R! Best! ;-)
    ?

  7. exnihilo415 Says:

The Ducati has 60 vs 44 lb/ft of? torque. That’s hard to overcome from my POV. That said, change those Dame Edna headlights and put the brembo and the ohlins from the Triumph 675R on the triple and suddenly I’m more interested. With all the love that Neevesy dotes over the Duc in other videos, I’d like to have him say that the Street Triple is the better bike. Maybe he left it out so he wouldn’t have to.

  8. oo7Grexx Says:

there is another non brit production here in youtube tested the SF848 vs the 2013 Street Triple R and? they liked both bikes but the Street Triple R edged out the SF848.

  9. Chris Brinlee Jr Says:

You do realize? that it’s a British bike?

  10. Chris Brinlee Jr Says:

It was left behind in the? dust.

  11. Chris Brinlee Jr Says:

That’s because the Street Triple is in a? class of its own. No comparison.

  12. Craig Harrison Says:

Please redo this test in the spring/summer when you can properly test how the bikes feel and perform the? way we want to ride them

  13. qpae123 Says:

Where? the heck did you saw 27 liter tank on Zed mate?:))
Mine is even lighter then that 198, is not stock.

  14. curzo91 Says:

isn’t correct, old was 198? kg empty and 225 full

  15. qpae123 Says:

yes, but that chassis for me is way too small, I am 196 cm tall, and the Z1000 is at limit I can say.
I can’t ride well a? Monster or a ST, too small 4 me lmao.

  16. jathe5th Says:

New street triple is 182 kg wet.?

  17. qpae123 Says:

Actually the New Z800? 2013 (229 kg ) is a lot heavier then the 2006 old Z 1000 (198 kg ), and less performant in anything less ( power, torque, top speed etc)
Newer is not equal allways better.

  18. Bergaufschieba Says:

There is a Brutale 800 coming, you should compare that to those bikes.? Brutale rider and fanboy speaking ;o)

  19. qpae123 Says:

I live in Romania ( east Europe ) lol, not? America .And my old Z1000 ( 2006 ) has only 198 KG , not 218 like the new models. And even the chassis is a little smaller .That what I said the diference are not big.
And it hadles incredible well. Ride safe too !

  20. frankbrock1 Says:

It’s even lighter than the z800. Removed the swordfish license plate holder? and steel muffler and lost 10 kg

  21. frankbrock1 Says:

I? ride the fz8. Why is it old? It handles crisp. Best build quality, low rev power and best frame and swing
